Went to my doctor Friday Oct 21 for my 38 week check up. Had a scheduled c section for Oct 28th, so this was going to be my last appointment. Had a really bad morning and was stressed completely out. Nurse took my blood pressure and it was 153/100. She made me sit for about 10 minutes and came back to check again. 153/108. I was being sent to the hospital for monitoring, but as soon as I walked in they had me in a room and being prepped for a c section. Walked in at noon. Baby girl was delivered at 1:01 pm. Fastest thing I've ever seen done. My grandma didn't even have enough time to get there before they took me back. She ended up coming in as they were pulling her out of me. My blood pressure dropped and baby went into distress, but once she was out everything was fine! Baby Amelia Lucille Sue came into this world weighing 7 lbs and 19 inches long.
