I have had my paragaurd  hormone free IUD for almost 3 years now and i have to say its the best thing i did for my self NOW with that said i didnt like it at first its took a long time for my body to adjust to it. My peroids got shorter but heavier. I bleed alot in the first 4 months but after about 6 months everything evened it self out! Remember you had a foreign object placed in side of you, your body is going to try and reject it at first best of luck all!
