Getting my hair done and little confidence about it..

I am a natural girl. I have only worn my hair in a fro or in a puff ball. I am going to thw beauty shop and getting in pressed (flat ironed) i am so nervous because nobody has seen me with my hair straight in a very long time and i dont really like attention as far as all eyes on me and people acting like they did not recognize me lol. I am afraid i am going to pay $85 to get it done and end up washing it to get my afro back 😥.. Please help. I want a change plus i want to see how long my hair is.
