Idk when this started really. A few years ago I was in a car wreck with my ex and my daughter. My ex was driving and he wasn't paying attention and he hit a car in front of us stopped at a red light. We were ok. The front of the car was all smashed in and completely totalled. Someone in the car we hit got taken away in a stretcher 😢 I'm not sure what happened to them. Anyways, it was traumatic and I had a hard time being in a car for a while. But that was like 4 years ago. Now I have this fear when I'm in the passengers seat that my fiance is going to crash. Idk what it is or when it started bc the anxiety went away after about a year after the accident. My fiance just got his license back in February. So maybe I'm scared bc I don't fully trust his driving yet? It's bad tho, I'll get super anxious when I see break lights even if they're not close to us. If he follows a car too closely I feel like I'm gonna throw up and I tell him to back off the car in front. If he speeds up too fast, even if we're under the speed limit I get this heavy feeling in my chest and get scared. Wtf is wrong with me? ? I have this when my sister is driving too, but it's not as bad as when my fiance is driving. Idk what to do about it. Any thoughts?
