My HSG was incredibly painful but the worst of it is over once the test is over. I would have survived if I had to go to work afterwards but I was really glad that I didn't have to. I just stayed in bed and rested for the day. Good luck to you! Not everyone has it painful like mine was so you won't know for sure until it happens.
