working mom question???

Question

So I work with one of my best friends in an office.  This week I started to work from home because my boss said it would help me get into the flow of things since I will be working from home after the baby comes. She texts me this morning telling me I shouldn't have started to work from home so early, (im getting induced in 3 & 1/2 to 4 weeks from now) telling me that I am making woman look bad by needing special treatment when pregnant.  Was this completely rude or am I overreacting? (I'm high risk due to having a loss at 8 months)

If you didn't birth my children..
If you don't have your name on my lease or mortgage...
If you're not going to be the one cleaning up my puke when I'm sick..

Thanks ladies! I was like WTF!!! Where did this come from?  Telling me I'm being unprofessional I thought was like a slap in the face.  I was just doing what my boss was telling me to do!!

No that's super rude. Especially since you are high risk. Woman might not be fragile or need special treatment. But you being relaxed and getting in to the swing of things is good for you mentally and baby. You don't want to be stressed since stress isn't good for the baby and you are high risk. And I personally took leave at 36.5 weeks. And I don't really know how people work up till their due date. I've been so tired and sore. I am glad I don't have any stress.
