Disappointing others

It's really starting to bother me when older moms give me adivice. Especially when they say "Put that baby down or you'll regret it later". She's 6 freaking weeks old and she's my first so I'm not chasing her sibilings! I will not put her down. How is that helpful? It just makes me feel like a bad mom.

I also am struggling really hard with my decision on going back to work or not but my mom is going to be so disappointed If I don't go back. I'm 27, I should be allowed to make my own choices for my family. Ugh
