When did you start feeding your baby cereal?

I didn't. There is absolutely no nutritional need to feed your baby cereal.

Never, and I have three kids. Solids at 6 months is the current recommendation. However cereals are not necessary and since they have little to no nutritional value, we skip them. We start right with avocado or sweet potato

Never and definitely not to put in bottles like I noticed a post the other day. 4-6 months feed them home cooked food. Start with fruit and veg. New guidance is 6 month but I personally start around 4 month. Guidance was 4 month with my older children.

Today at 4 months! Baby has been interested in eating foods for a while now as I can tell by her gestures. The cereal has iron in it and it is mostly just to prepare your baby for some texture w/bm before eating baby foods.

My pediatrician recommended a tablespoon of cereal per 4 oz of formula to help with her spitting up. She stays fuller longer and doesn't spit up as much now. I won't actually feed her cereal til around 6 months. She's 11 weeks now.

My dr said I can start at 15lbs but I started at 13lbs because my baby literally wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat (he's 7 weeks tomorrow.) I tried cereal tonight for the first time and he slept from 11pm-4:30. 🙌🏽

Usually between 4-6m with docs approval first. They check to make sure your baby has good neck & head control. We got the okay to start foods at 4m but I'm waiting until 5m (which is a week away!) We are doing an oatmeal cereal first and veggies
