Brown spotting??

One week ago I noticed I was having brown spotting. Saw my Dr and she concluded that it was just vaginal irritation from friction from having sex. A vaginal exam showed no active bleeding and ultrasound showed baby was fine.. she said once the bleeding stopped fully we could continue having sex with lube to help.. 
it slowed but never went away. Now, I'm noticing when I go #2 and wipe my vagina the brown blood discharge comes out, but no other times. I'm not constipated but my stool isn't the softest either. Could hard #2s coming out be causing the brown bloody discharge? I'm 14w 5d

I actually was just at the hospital the other night for basically the same thing. I was 13+2 and noticed some stringy brown blood in my discharge in the morning. I have a Doppler so I listened for heartbeat and told myself I wouldn't worry unless there were more. I was good til later in the evening I went to the bathroom and wiped and there was more brown discharge so I went in to be safe. During the pelvic exam the doctor said she saw more brown blood but that sometime cervixes can bleed from swelling, intercourse, etc. we also did an ultrasound and I was told everything came back great. Hubby and I fooled around a few days before then but I had completely forgot so I'm pretty sure that's why I had A little bloody discharge. I still had a little yesterday but nothing today. I was told that unless it was red blood that most likely its nothing to be too worried about. The second doc came in, he was an asshole, very blunt and didn't seem to care about others feelings when he gave answers to me, and told me that I have a higher risk of miscarriage and that I'll probably bleed on and off this whole pregnancy then walked away before I could say much more. I wouldn't worry too much, unless you're having cramping with pink or red blood, brown blood is old so it's been in there for a while. But make sure you call your doctor and let him know what's going on. He may want to check on it to be safe.
