Doctor not measuring?

Question

My OB has yet to measure me and it's kind of frustrating. She said she can just tell. But I would like to know if I am measuring ahead or not. She also said my anatomy scan would be my last ultrasound but I would really like to know what he is weighing.
Its frustrating for me. I feel out of the loop when I want to know these things.

An ultrasound is just a guess. It's not accurate . And measuring your stomach is not a big deal. You can get measuring tape and do it yourself. I've only had 2 ultrasounds and im fine with that. Only other one I need is to make sure baby is head down for delivery.

I'm in the same boat, and especially when I read everyone's measurements on his app I feel a little left out and in the dark. I know intellectually that the health outcomes aren't statistically effected by not measuring and that I'm getting great care, but sometimes I wish I had a little more info... even if it's just to make me feel like I'm progressing.

32 weeks was the first time he measured
My stomach but I'm high risk and being monitored by everyone else every 4 weeks.

My doctor has never measured me, and I'm 30.weeks 4 days. I meet my ob on Friday so I'll ask her how the baby is doing, but that is the only time I will meet with her.

With my first pregnancy I had a doctor guess that I was going to have a big baby. During my 36 week appointment she offensively said he was already almost 9 pounds and I should be careful with gaining more weight than I already have. My son came out 8lbs 2oz which is super normal so I was kind of annoyed. I wish they would do a sonogram around 37-38 weeks just to see how big the baby is but with mine they don't do anymore ultrasounds after 20 weeks.

What's the point of measuring the stomach? My OB just does an ultrasound every two weeks and measures baby

My doc told me I'll get an US towards to end to check his postioning to make sure he's not breached.

She didn't measure me until week 31, she checked me too the see how soft my cervix was

I only got two ultrasounds and I didn't even get to find out what I'm having.... And they started measuring me at 30 weeks but that's after I had been in hospital

My dr never measured my stomach until I hit 30 weeks. But she has done the heartbeat and everything else from day one.
