Can't tell which twin is moving?

Hello!

I am almost 28 weeks with di/di twins. At my last appointment, the ob asked if I felt both twins moving. I honestly can't tell! Baby B has been in a different position at almost every ultrasound. Last appointment he was smashed up next to his sister. He also has an anterior placenta.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one who kind of guesses which baby is moving at the time?

My twins are in separate sacs. I think I know Baby A is moving when I feel like my cervix will fly across the room at any moment from being hit to hard lol and I'm sure when I feel my ribs in my throat it's baby b. They have been in the same spots since the beginning. Baby b has only flipped to match baby A in being head to head instead of being head to feet

I generally think I can tell them apart.. but only because baby A has always been low. I have only been able to feel her at all since 23 weeks because her placenta is anterior. So any low movement I attribute to A..Any high movement I attribute to B... I could easily be mistaking some of A's movements as being B though.. I don't know if anyone can ever 100% tell which is which...

I'm 27 weeks and I have no clue which one is which! Last week at the ultrasound they both hand their heads up near my boobs, no idea if they have changed position tho. I can feel punches/kicks all over the place so I really can't tell who is who! Both have anterior placentas too so I didn't start feeling them until about 22/23 weeks.

My OB asks me this too. I feel Baby A more because my Baby B also has an anterior placenta. When I get kicks/punches in the belly button though, I have no clue lol.

I wouldnt worry either i have the same problem and im 35 wks..i kind of have an idea but not sure because my babies be all over the place

Your placenta might be what's stopping you from being able to definitely feeling which one is moving. I know I've seen quite a few women with twins on this page that can't feel one baby or it's hard to tell because of the anterior placenta. As long as they are both growing good at every appointment I wouldn't worry about it
