Sick Baby..please help me!!

My son who is a year old, has been having a really bad cold. He has a really bad stuffy nose since Friday of last week. I tried using a  bulb syringe but he won't let me, I also tried to rub some Vick on his chest I think it kinda helps a little. I gave him some medicine too for his cough and running nose but it's not working at all. He is having trouble breathing more at night, tried sleeping him with a roll up blanket in the back of his head to help him breathe but it doesn't works since he is a crazy sleeper. I just want him to get a good night sleep but with that stuffy nose it's hard for him to do. Any new ideas on how I can help him breathe better at night? FTM here and it's breaking my heart seeing him like this.
