Technically Yes but that's only if you go crazy with it. The way it works (the science behind it) is that it causes a blood clot that can then travel to the brain and potentially kill you.

A hickey is basically a blood clot and some of them can travel. I still get them from my boyfriend but not on my neck he mostly puts them on my breast and I put them on his neck. If you are in the moment and it happens don't be too afraid just enjoy yourself
