PCOS AND TTC?

Diagnosed with PCOS and currently ttc.  Irregular periods and currently on metformin twice daily, has anyone had any luck conceiving with PCOS and any tips? Diets? Other medications/treatments to help?

I am currently 22 weeks pregnant after 6 years TTC.  Was FINALLY diagnosed with PCOS after four years, tried with metformin and Clomid for a year before taking 6 months off and then going to an IVF Clinic.
  
6 months later, 3 monitored cycles and our first IUI, we conceived a healthy baby.
  
It IS possible, and every woman is different.

A friend recently conceived naturaly after giving up several years ago.

Another friend stayed on metformin and gave up clomid and conceived after three months.  She conceived her second with only metformin as well.

Answer

I have not concieved yet, but I did lose like 60 pounds by cutting out sugar and keeping my carbs low. My periods are now regular at a 32 day cycle.
