How did you tell your husband?

Question

I'm not pregnant yet, but when I find out I am I want to be able to tell my husband in a special way. What did everyone do? Did you just show him the test or did anyone do anything special?

I slid my test under the door while he was pooping... :)

I wanted to do something special, but I was so excited that I stood at the top of the stairs waving the test at him. 😂😂

My plan is to get pregnant by Christmas so I can put the test under the tree! :)

We were told we would never have kids until we did IUI or IVF. So we just stopped trying and started saving for the treatments. And I had a test sitting around and just wanted to use it so it would stop being a bitch and call my name every morning. So I used it in the afternoon and got a strong positive. So I just put it in a gift Bag and ran to the store and got him a card. And had him open it when he got home off work. Then he made us go back to the store to get a digital test.... because apparently my lines were "confusing" to read. 😂

My lines. All take within 4 hours of each other. 😂 i think men don't believe it until the "pregnant" word literally shows up.

- Write 'Your going to be a dad' in a fortune cookie.
- Make some cupcakes with a note saying two are for you + baby, I saw a lady on Glow do that. It was a really cute idea.
- Give him a gift with the pregnancy test and a baby item. 
- Buy one of those 'Preggers' tops, walk out with it on and watch his reaction. 
- Decorate some chocolate spelling out the words 'Your going to be a daddy', put them in a chocolate box.
- Go to Starbucks together, have them write Daddy on the cup. 
- Funny card
- Personalised beer

I got my positive Christmas morning so wrapped up the test with some pictures of us "through the years". We unwrapped gifts in the morning then after that I convinced him to go out to the beach to let our pup play. Before we made it to the beach, I was so giddy that he knew something was up. I gave him the present to open & he was so excited. I got it on video which is pretty cool to look back at ☺️☺️
