if your being induced, how early do you have to be at the hospital?

When it comes to getting induced, does anyone know if you have to be at the hospital at least 2 hours before the time they gave you or just a few minutes early?

I got there right on time and had to wait an hour ha ha. turns out my cousin was giving birth next door!

Just a few minutes early... It's not a procedure like surgery where they have lots of stuff to do that's time sensitive. 
I was actually late. I was supposed to be there at 7 and I got there closer to 7:30 because I didn't sleep well and had a hard time waking up.

I'm being induced on Sat it will be my second induction. It depends on if your dilated and thinned. My 2nd child I was induced I was checked my last apt was almost 3 dilated and thinned out so they had me come and 6am that morning. This one my last apt I'm barley 1 dilated and still thick so I'm going in the night before my induction at 8pm to start with meds to get me further along before they give me pitocin.

It depends on the hospital. Sometimes they factor in registration, getting a room, and that sort of stuff into the time. Sometimes it's the time they actually want to START.

I wasn't given an exact time to be induced. I was told to call the hospital at 6am to see if they had a room available for me, which they did, and they told me to come in as soon as I could. After paperwork and the usual process of being admitted, they started pitocin between 9 & 9:30 (I got to the hospital around 7am).
