He won't stop cryingggg

Hi all... my baby is 7 weeks old and won't stop crying. He has had gas for the past few weeks...seeing pediatrician this week about changing formula to a sensitive formulation . .

Tonight, it doesn't seem like gas. Constant feeding, very frequent pooping. .. could this be the growth spurt?????? I'm having trouble consoling him. I'm not a believer in letting him cry it out especially at this young age... I just don't know what to do! (Hubby is no help at alll)
