Breastfeeding

Chyna
When my daughter was born I wanted to strictly breastfeed her. I started out strong I'd get around 3 ounces from each boob even after feeding her. Unfortunately 3 weeks after she was born I started to not produce as much and she started eating more. At 3 weeks old my daughter could eat as much as a 2 month old, and I was drying up. I still don't know why I started producing less and less milk I tried everything I could think of. I ate more and more had vegetables and fruits. I looked up all the food I could eat that would help. I drank water by the litre, and I even started taking lactation pills. Nothing helped. Today I decided to stop trying. I decided that it was too depressing to keep trying with no progress. As much as it hurts to make this decision it's something that I have to do for me. My daughter is a happy healthy baby. As much as I wanted her to never have to touch formula she is growing and she is happy.
