Carseats!!!!

Hey, so I am going to be a first time mom and we have looked into those cool carseats that grow with your kid from neborn clear until simple booster seats and we have also looked at the removable ones that you use up to like 30 lbs. What have your preferences been and pros and cons for both?! Help please!
