I would be nearly 33 weeks pregnant this week. I would have just had my baby shower and would be finishing setting up a nursery.
We should be getting ready to welcome you home, we should be preparing for maternity leave, and all of the fun and excitement that happens in the final few weeks.
I shouldn't be getting sad every time someone else posts ANOTHER pregnancy announcement. I shouldn't be upset over the samples of Enfamil formula that I got in the mail today.
But we're not getting ready to welcome you because you had to leave us at just 10 weeks. We aren't because someone else had different plans than we did. I am because I wish it was me.
I wish I could be sitting here, feeling you move, reading out loud to you, making your bedroom perfect.
I would be. But I'm not.
