Our lactation consultant advised us that I should feed our daughter until she passed out on the breast. In order to help her learn nights and days, we should feed her every 2 hours during the day and 3 hours last night. This worked decently well yesterday, with about two hours of fussy wakefulness around dinner time. When she woke up around 945 for her final feeding, she wouldn't go down when I took her off my boob and put her in her bassinet. So I wound up letting her sleep on me, surrounded by a pillow barricade, all night. All 3 of us slept, but it makes me so nervous bc it's so dangerous. And today whenever I try to put her down after she passes out on the boob, she immediately wakes up.
