husband wants formula

A
Hi Mamas! After two weeks of mixed messages from lactation consultants and a confusing mix of formula, pumping, and breastfeeding, I finally feel confident in my supply and how feedings are going when breastfeeding. At times, my son gets fussy 20 min after a feeding and my husband feels he is rooting and hungry. I have told him he is just looking for comfort and has eaten enough. (I give pacifier and snuggles) He said we don't know how much he has actually eaten. So I left the house post-feed and returned to learn he gave my son formula and he drank the whole bottle. He said this proves he was still hungry after I fed him. Any advice for how to get husband on board? I think he also may feel left out since he would give formula in the early days. He thinks I am acting like an expert and am depriving my son and it's becoming a source of stress and upset. Thanks!
