I never thought I'd be such a big baby. My little one is 4 months old and I'm experiencing hair loss. Not just hair loss but CLUMPS and CLUMPS of hair are non stop coming off of my head. I have recently been finding it in between my daughter's toes and fingers and I made the decision to get a pixie cut. I don't want to, it makes me sad, but it's already becoming an issue of safety. Who knew I was so attached to my hair? My husband really hates short hair and is being really nice about it but I can tell he isn't too happy. But this is what's best for my baby. But UGH the hair loss!!!! (I do have post partum thyroiditis & hashimotos) any advice on what can stop it!!!!

The doctors pushed medication on me but I was able to cure my thyroid disorder just by going on a strict grain free/paleo type diet.

It is possible. And there is hope! I hope you find something that works.

I wash my hair every few days with a strengthening shampoo and conditioner, and on those days I'll treat my hair with macadamia oil a couple of hours before showering. I'm still losing hair, but not quite as much.

I had the same issue when I was 3/4 months pp. Clumps would fall out and I had almost two big bald spots in the front of my hair. I youtubed alot of videos to see what other moms did. Everyone is different in how long the hair loss would be and how much falls out. What I did was brush my hair like EVERYDAY it'll eliminate any dead strands that are trying to fall out. My husband didn't like the idea of cutting my hair also but he knew how much it was effecting me. Then I found out I am pregnant again so it stopped a major portion of how much falls out. I'm still experiencing it but not as much. And the two spots that looked almost bald are growing back so you can see the strands sticking up lol. Have to gel it down or leave my hair out. But try not to stress too much cause that'll cause it to fall out more. Good luck and I wish you the best. Xoxo
