how old was your baby when ...

They started to grasp the concept of feeding themselves with a spoon or holding a bowl that has treats in it and eating from it?
How about actually playing with toys rather than just putting them in there mouth to chew?
My daughter will be one in two months and sometimes I worry that she's developmentally delayed because there's a lot of things she simply not doing that other kids her age are. I know you shouldn't compare but this is just a short list of all the  things that have me worried...

Mine likes to hold onto the spoon when o feed her and pick up food off the table and try to get it in her mouth (mostly successful) but she certainly thinks that toys are for eating only. She's only seven months though.

Mine is 2 and while he has the idea how to use a spoon, he refuses. So he hasn't had much practice. Don't worry, those.lightbulbs come on when they are ready. Its by age 3 that they really start grasping "human" things like eating, drinking, obeying commands, etc.

Mine started taking interest in using spoons/forks at about 11 months, she is now 13 months & is starting to actually use toys how they're supposed to other than just putting it in her mouth & she just got comfortable walking as well. I understand why you might worry but every baby is different. I would always compare my little one to all other babies especially when it compared to what age they walked because everyone else's baby was walking before a year but she's doing it now so I don't worry. Plus my little one was premature sobi take that into consideration as well to put me at ease. Your baby might be doing things other babies aren't doing yet so don't pressure her, she will get there :)
