When should I make the appointment

I'm still in shock those two little lines haven't disappeared.  I am almost 5 weeks but I'm not sure when/ where to make an appointment.  Here is my situation...

Currently my husband and I are temporarily stationed in Oklahoma for a TDY en route and will be in our new base in 6 weeks (which will put me at 11 weeks.)
Should I go ahead and make an appointment before I move?

I've been taking prenatals for months, and have experienced zero spotting or anything that would cause concern.

Yes definitely make the appointment before. If you chose to live on post they will factor in the pregnancy and automatically will qualify for a bigger house. Plus referrals can take take some time with prime. If that all makes sense. My hubby and I have one child so we currently reside in a two bedroom but now that I am pregnant we qualify for a three bedroom. Just need the confirmation letter from my doctor and we can be put on the list. We just moved here so it's a pain in the butt having to do all of this again. So if you get confirmation before heading to the new post you will put on the right list (obviously only if you chose to stay on post)

I would make an appointment at your new doctors office at the new base now! I didnt do this and now i havent been to the OB since leaving our last base in VA at 12w and now om 19w and finally got an appointment on Monday...sometimes they take a while to get you in! But might want a checkup before you leave as well...if you can get in in time! congrats!!
