Not sure if this is...

Field Of Daisies 💋 • ~She's country, from her cowboy boots to her down home roots~

...a controversial topic(probably isn't but this room gets better answers/opinions). But parents, how would you feel if a teacher sent your child home with a packet of extra food items and then found out, they pick certain kids to do this to?

I was honestly pretty offended at first because 1, not knowing the reasoning behind this until today and 2, knowing my child is super picky and they've probably picked up on that. I was literally thinking they thought he wasn't getting fed at home like he should. Maybe I'm just overreacting but I wanted to see what everyone else said. I'm still a little iffy and part of me wants to ask them to not do that.

I'll copy paste her email:

"Each year we (teachers) are asked to submit names of students who might want or need some different foods to take home over the weekend. Ms.(deleted her name) and I discussed it and decided on a few students. It is meant to be a helpful thing. I hope that parent isn't upset. That's definitely not what we want. The county just wants to offer something for families that may need something.
