Evening primrose oil??

Hey guys what are your opinions or experiences with evening primrose oil ?? I'm 9 days away from my due date!

They help heaps I think. I dilated easier last labor..... Been taking them since 32 weeks this time... Nearly 37 now ... One with every meal.

I started with 1 tablet 1000 mg. I was worried about making me have loose stools. I'd insert one vaginally at night to soften your cervix since you're close to your due date and start with one a day by mouth.

I started taking them at 34 weeks and I'm almost 39 weeks now. It's definitely helped. Two in the morning and two at night. Since you're so close you could take two in the morning and under two at night.

You can still start on them!! Just remember it has laxative properties so you may need to go potty a lot! I can't see that as a bad thing as irritating the bowels a bit can get labor started.
