What do you think?

I was in my class one time and a question that came up was that if you would give up your life for your significant other if there was a situation that would require it. More than half the class claimed that is an extreme measure and said they wouldn't do it. They said that no love is that deep to just give up your life. The rest of the class claimed that you just have to have a deep love for your SO. What do you think? Do you think that your love would be deep enough to give it up for your bf/gf or husband/wife?
