pains and cramps
I'm 5+3weeks for a couple of days been experiencing sharp cramping pains.
I'm a nurse and yesterday at work the pain was getting worse.
I was sent Down to A&E to get checked over and then taken up to the surgical assessment unit for further examination. They took bloods, urine sample and gave me I.V paracetamol.
The nurse said the wanted to rule out ectopic pregnancy :(
I was examined by the gynaecology doctor who also said they would send me for a scan if my HCG levels were high enough to check for ectopic pregnancy.
Waiting and waiting but bloods weren't ready. I went down for the scan and they checked the system to find the bloods were back. My HCG was 20,000. She said it was a high reading anything over 6,000 and they would scan. So that seemed positive.
My and my husband went in to the scan room hoping we would see the sac in the right place and not ectopic..... to find there were 2 sacs there!!!
Further scan in a 10days as they need to see heart beats to be happy.
So overwhelmed
