Bouncer, swing, rock and play...what do i need?

First time mom...so many things out there! Do we really need all of these? Also do i really need a bassinet for the first few months or do people use the pack and play as a bassinet? Whats useful? Useless? Redundant? Thanks in advance!

My son is almost 4 weeks old. We use our pack n play's changing attachment and napper everyday. Our master is on the first floor, while his room is upstairs so the pack n play acts like a mini baby headquarters. When we arent using those items, we put him in his mamaroo.

Ive heard/read that people dont use their mamaroos, but we love ours.

We didn't have rack &play , bouncer she didn't like and swing she liked when she was about 1month old as it helps to put baby to sleep when you struggle . You can buy swing what's like bouncer type .

We have a pack n play, where she sleeps at night (and when we travel) and a swing, where she naps daily. The swing is also great just for keeping her calm and contained if I need to do something around the house.

I wish I would have gotten a separate bassinet. I have a rock & play, swing, pack & play, and an actual crib but I would still recommend getting a bassinet. Much more convenient as well as safer for sleeping than the rock and play. Congratulations!

Pack and play with infant napper for sleeping and the swing! The swing is extremely useful if I want to get something done.

I don't  get a pack and play.  I think that is more for the grandparents house. We will have a rock and play to sleep in for first few months.  Bouncy seats are great when you ha e to use the restroom or take a shower and there is no one else around to keep an eye on the baby. Swings tend to be a little bulky so I will not be getting one this time around. Not enough room for all the stuff!

Rock and play was a lifesaver! My son slept in it for a whole year!! We had a swing downstairs that had a removable bouncy seat. I'd get that kind to save on space/money.

Ours hates the rock and play so it's going back. We use a regular pack and play with no attachments for some nights and naps (he's better in crib) and we are buying a swing since I don't know what else to do with him (ges not really into the bouncer) when he's awake during day.

I originally got a rock n play. But then my step son gave me his bassinet. So I'm going to take that back. I bought a swing which is new style that is close to the ground. I'm assuming if I turn the swing off , it's pretty much a bouncer. So I'm just going with that. My daughter hated every but being held. Hoping for the best this time and less clingy... But idk.
