evening primrose to induce???

Question

Has anyone used evening primrose oil to induce labor? 
My due date is tomorrow and I will be induced Tuesday if I don't have him by then! 
Does it work?

It's only helped soften my cervix. I've been taking it for over 2 weeks and drinking rasberry leaf tea 3x a day. 100% effaced, dilation 0. I'm due the 31st, probably going over my due date but I want him to be ready on his own anyway. He'll be here when he's ready and I'll anxiously, patiently be waiting.

Evening primrose is used to help soften the cervix to help prevent major tearing and help with dilation. It doesn't necessarily induce labor. I inserted 2 capsules a day, took 1 orally starting a week before my induction date and I still had a 2nd degree tear even though my cervix was really soft. It only got me to 1cm though so no help there really. Who knows if it would have been worse had I not started EPO a week before birth!
