info about Doberman dogs?

So off topic of trying to conceive but does anyone know much about Doberman dogs? I'm about to get one off of somebody it's a Doberman and pitbull mix really cute pup but, I have two kittens you think they will be fine together?

Like Kathy said. The younger the better. Keep them exposed and use positive reinforcement for good behavior.  Generally pits are really gentle with small animals and kids and babies. But a lot of it is how they're raised. I don't trust dobermans but I've never met a nice one so that probably just has to do with the handlers.

Maybe all you can do is try. Just keep an eye on them and see how they do together. All animals are different depending on how they were raised. It's always easier to get them use to each other the younger they are.

When a dog is a mix it's hard to determine its temperament. All you can do is try and see and contain them away from each other till they warm up

My grandma had two cats and a dog when she got a Doberman. He was awful with the other animals. One of the cats found herself a new home. She was allowed to go outdoors and one day didn't come back home. Turns out a family two streets down took her in. He pulled the Maltese dogs hair out. The other cat basically just hide upstairs from him. He also hated every person but my grandma. I personally don't like them as family dogs. Maybe you have more luck since he's mixed. I only heard great things about pitbulls.

If the dog is very very young, then yes because it can be trained to be friendly and nice to cats. But if it's already a few months old or more, and has already had some training and not been around cats at all, I would be cautious and maybe see how the dog acts around them before actually adopting the dog.
