Day 10

Missy
I've had heavy periods most of my life. I'm 44 and just recently found out that I have what is called a factor five. Which is I produce blood blots, and the only way to take care if it is to be on blood thinners for the rest of my life. How I found this out was I started getting weak, shortness of breathe and heart racing and all I wanted to do was sleep. I went to ER and was told my hemoglobin was below a 5 and it's so posed to be around a 12, so I was told I was getting a blood transfusion and I was severely anemic and how was I still standing. I was a puzzle they said. I did a lot of test and the next thing I know I'm being told that I'm being air lifted to Wichita to ICU. There I was still a mystery and finally they had a blood doctor figure it out.  So now I'm dealing with a heavy period on blood thinners and can't have a hysterectomy until I've been on blood thinners for over 3 months and make sure they're working. I got my blood work down and my hemoglobin is going up I'm finally at a 10 and slowly getting there. Will this ever end. It effects my life and my job. Just thought I needed to get this out there. Is there anyone else like this?
