When should your daughter get BC?

Whenever she needs it. Whenever she's having sex or needs it for her period. I didn't get on birth control until I asked my mom if I could, and I was 17.

When she is either planning on being sexually active or feels like she wants it for anything else or both. I'm not going to force my daughter onto birth control at a certain age because I think I know best, that's ridiculous

I don't think there's a right age. Being on BC doesn't mean you're going to be having sex. I got on the pill at 15 because my cramps, heavy flow, headaches and nausea from my period made it unbearable to be in school all day. I was missing a lot of school and it was actually my moms idea for me to get on the pill. It was a godsend. Now, my flow is so much lighter, I barely have cramps anymore and I only occasionally get headaches and nausea. I was glad that when I decided to lose my virginity at 17, I was already on the pill for two years.

That depends on the person. My dad was super against me going on it until I was 18 & was an adult. My dads gf said I should get on it (when I was 14) cause my period was hella irregular & that's why she got on it. I personally wouldn't let my girls get on it until they're 18 cause 
1. they better not be having sex. You end up pregnant you're out my house no matter the age. I do not play that shit. 
2. Your periods will be irregular until you're about 18-20 cause your body's still getting used to having it & figuring itself out (that's what all my doctor told me for years now) so no need to add more hormones to it.
I'm on BC now & my period is still hella irregular & there is nothing wrong down there, I've been tested for everything & had scans done.
With that said, it's really up to the parent. I know girls who were put on it at 13 & they were hoes, sadly & still ended up pregnant in high school. One in middle school.

My mom literally won't let me get birth control. I'm 17 & I'll be 18 next month. She says it's because she doesn't want more hormones put into my body 😒
