For those who did get pregnant, did you take your pill correctly? Why do you think you got pregnant?

Answer

If you don't want a child, use as much protection as possible. Condom and birth control. Birth control is not one hundred percent. Condoms aren't either but if you have both you're more likely to not get pregnant. Don't take the chance if you don't want the commitment.

Of my friends I know of who had babies but were supposedly on the pill:
1 was on antibiotics, she didn't realise they cancelled out the pill
1 was 'hopelessly forgetful ' and rarely took it daily
1 had the pill in her bathroom cabinet and said 'I really should start taking my pill' but in reality took nothing at all
... and all 3 were taken by surprise by their pregnancies! The middle one had a pHd in some science field too.
