TTC after an IUD

I'm curious what everyone's experience was after removing an IUD, how long did it take you to get pregnant? I know it's different for everyone, just wanting to see if there's a general consensus. My husband and I are discussing trying for another baby in a year. I'd like to be pregnant January of 2018 if we're going to try again and want to see how much in advance I'd need to get my mirena out. Yes I will talk with my OB as well.
