Nexplanon implant and random spotting

Does anyone out there have the Nexplanon birth control implant? I have had mine about 9 months now and in the first 6 months I had spotting every 2 weeks. Now it's a little more regular but I have been breaking out a lot. That has never been an issue. It's so bad I actually bought Proactive. Just curious how others experiences have been.
