anyladies taking Metformin for fertility !?

Question

I have been taking 500mg of Metformin since April and This month I have started taking 1000mg. Has anyone done this and if so what affect did it have on you and your periods!?

I have been taking metformin  500 mg for 4 months now . Initially started taking it for fertility and pcos. Started my cycle two weeks after starting  metfomin, had a normal 28 day cycle . October cycle  I am now 14 days past due . Took a home pregnancy test that was negative will test again this week
