So im 22 and dont have any insurance.... I want to get the IUD but idk how to?? how much is it???

I do not have insurance, my family is self pay..I paid $1800 for my copper IUD and a standard $180 for a follow up exam..😒😒😒 
But if you have insurance it should cover it, my best friend paid nothing out of pocket for hers.

You can go to a planned parenthood or health clinic they go by income so you could get it for free or for a small fee

Going through a dr office you would pay the entire retail price and also the fee for the dr visit since you dont have insurance but im sure the office would have some sort of payment plan if you dont want to go through a clinic

I think so? I think I have a copay, but I've blown through my deductible so quickly the last two years everything has been free for me for months. But I think I remember having one.

I think I have a small copay for my pills but that's about it. It's never more than $15 I just can't remeber it off hand

I'm on trinessa the pill bc & have insurance so it's free, but without insurance it's about 30$ per pack
