Ovulation issues.

So my husband and i have been TTC for about 10 months now with no success. I was on the pill for about 8 years and I am having an extremely difficult time regulating my cycle. And I have tested for my ovulation each month and have never had a positive. So at the beginning of the month my dr. put me on medroxyprogesterone to force my period and then 5 days of clomid. Sooo i continue to test for my ovulation and i am now on day 17 of my cycle and i still haven't had a positive. My husband and I have been making love every other day hoping that maybe I'm just testing at the wrong time of day or something. Am I maybe missing it? Should I test at a different time of day? Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm so sick of seeing all these pregnancy announcements on my Facebook feed! I just want it to be my turn. And I also know that 10 months isn't that long compaired to how long some ladies try. But it doesn't get rid of my frustration either.
