So in 1 month i go back to work Dec 1 & im worried my baby is going to bond with her babysitter over me. Is this stupid??? Is it possible?? & how do I prevent it from happening?? 😢

Not at all! I have an incredible bond with an almost 3 year old girl who I have nannied for since she was 5 weeks... but it doesn't come even close to the bond she has with her mom!

From what I've been told it is a huge relief to parents when their LO grows a special bond with their caretaker; you know you made the right choice!

Personally I've never had it happen to me. There's a little boy I care for now, I've been watching him since he was 5 months old, he's now 2. He's never called me mom or confused me for mom. He know I'm Anna but he gets Anna and Nana confused so he calls me ninie haha.

You don't want to prevent you baby from bonding with their caretaker.

It's not unusual for a baby to call a caretaker mom every now and then.

You want your child to be comfortable with their caretaker..
