can I wear a tampon while pregnant? maybe tmi
I'm 20 weeks and since about 8 weeks, i've been bleeding due to a SCH. The past 2 weeks it has gotten pretty bad, way past spotting. Everynight, I wake up and im soaked through pads, my clothes, and sometimes even the bed. It's annoying for me and i'm sure for my husband because I keep having to wake him up to change the bed. I cant wear anything comfortable because i have to wear multiple pads at once (the big maternity pads) but they end up somehow getting bunched up, uncomfortable, or I bleed through them.
It's just horrible and embarrassing to be out in public when you can literally feel blood pouring out. I've been to multiple doctors and the hospitals but they keep saying my bleeding is normal, but I feel like some days I lose so much blood i cant get up.
Anyways, can I wear a tampon so I can stop bleeding through clothes? I've heard you cant because it increases risk for infection or something?
