Laxatives? Another poop post...

Question

I have to poop SO badly, but it feels like I'm pooping glass! I've been taking stool softeners for 12 days now, plus hemmeroid cream, but my poop is so hard that I feel like I'm dying! If I take a laxative,  would that give me diarrhea,  or just make my really hard poop shoot out faster? 😂 😳

I take the pink dulcolax (just one) when it gets bad and it does the trick! Miralax and stool softeners do nothing for me

Update! I've been taking MiraLax for a few days now, plus I'm trying to drink more. Yesterday I used an enema, and OMG I thought I was giving birth again. It did hurt less, but I had such crazy cramping that I thought I was going to explode. My sister in law helped me (God bless her!!) And she stuck her head in the bathroom and asked what she could get me. I responded with "Death!! Bring me death!" 😂😂 I was so hot and sweaty and queasy. BUT, once it was over,  I felt SO much better!  Then, I had some diarrhea later in the evening, and I've never been so happy to have it! 😂 This post partum crap is so effing weird.

Try benefiber.  That's what I use.  Just put it in my coffee, can't taste it!

It will make it really soft, but at this point, I'd think it's worth it. Interesting that y'all had that issue with the hospital stool softener. I did too and didn't know why. TMI but my first poop pp was huge and I was like no wonder that hurt so bad (I had stitches from an episiotomy)...it would have hurt anyway though. It was crazy.

I took the hospital still softener for three weeks and I think it started backfiring and making me more stopped up. You might want to try stopping it....

Drink alot of water!! I mean alot and poop the longer you wait the harder it will get.  Spray some numbing spray on your booty hole.
