Bleeding

On Wednesday I was out to dinner with a girlfriend. We were going to go to a baby shower for another friend of ours. I was laughing and joking and suddenly felt like I had peed myself a little bit. This is my second pregnancy so I'm no stranger to the occasional leak. I excused myself to the bathroom only to find that it was bright red blood. I immediately thought worst case that I had lost the baby. I told my friend what had happened and went outside to call my husband. I'm an ER nurse so I told him I didn't think I needed to be seen because at this point there is nothing that they could do to stop it....but then I kept bleeding. my friend drove me to the ER and by the time I went in I had blood running down my legs and into my shoes. I was just so sure that I had lost the baby. My coworkers were all so wonderful and supportive but I was a mess. much to my surprise and delight, the baby looked great on ultrasound. heart rate was 168 and it was moving around like crazy. I am just so thankful. I was diagnosed with a subchorrionic hemmhorage and put on bedrest for the weekend. I haven't had any bleeding since Thursday which is pretty comforting. I have a follow up ultrasound on Wednesday to make sure everything has resolved. I am so nervous and just praying constantly that our little peanut is still ok! It's so hard being this early and not being able to feel the baby move. Anyone else had similar experiences?
