Took Plan B for the first time

Hi ladies,

I had sex on Saturday night and we used a condom. Unfortunately, the condom broke and he came inside of me. I took Plan B the next morning (about 14 hours after the incident).

This is my first time taking it. My period is due in 6 days but is it safe for me to assume that I will miss my period because Plan B is an extreme amount of hormones?

Basically, what side effects should I expect?
