Membrane Sweep Opinions?

Has anyone had a membrane sweep? Did it help? How soon did you go into labor? Sorry for all the questions. My doctor just said she'd do one at my next appointment next week :)

I had one done Friday and today. After Friday I had cramping but today nothing. It is different for everyone but usually the first in trying to jumpstart labor as it is natural.

I had my menbrane swept on Thursday 11/3 . I went to labor 11/4 and had my baby 11/5 . Gave me a lot of contractions

I'm having one tomorrow when I will be 39 4 and was super excited it would work but have seen very mixed reviews so trying not to get hopes up. I will let you know how I get on.

I had one today and it felt no diff then a cervical check.

Its uncomfortable. Caused me some light spotting and cramping. Had to get it sweeped twice and my water ended up breaking a week after the 2nd sweep. I was 40 weeks.

It is quite uncomfortable. I found it painful. But then again I was in the process of being induced so I was already all over the place. I do remember the sweep feeling very uncomfortable (that was with my daughter who is 3, currently 38 weeks pregnant with my son). I've been offered a sweep for my next appt aswell and I'm contemplating whether to have it. I will be 41 weeks and 5 days by then so if I don't have the baby by that time I may feel too fed up and just have the sweep.
