BDD: Honestly, am I fat and ugly?

I have BDD and this makes it really hard for me to honestly know what I look like. I am working with a therapist and nutritionist to help with my OCD, GAD, and BDD.

Please answer brutally honestly.

Honey, I don't think anyone is 100% satisfied with their personal image to the fullest but in all honesty... you're perfectly fine and beautiful. If you feel that you have areas you'd like to work on, then go for it but just know that it's all just adding finishing touches. It's never wrong to want to be better but don't be cruel to yourself, embrace it and all those little things you want to improve. Just be realistic... harder said than done. I know.

You're beautiful!!! Love yourself!!!! That is my hope for you!!! You aren't fat. Being curvy is awesome!!! Men live it. But the key is confidence. Strut your stuff girl!!! You have natural beauty in your face too. Don't ever let anyone tell you who you are! I hope that you don't obsess about these things. Please, please, PLEASE learn to love yourself. I have a couple exercises you can try. When you're taking a shower, close your eyes and imagine that the water running down on you is love. Feel it. Imagine that its confidence being poured into your body. After you get out stand in your mirror naked and adore yourself. Tell yourself how beautiful you are, and  how sexy you are. Always wear something that helps you remember these feelings. Something you can look at when you start second guessing yourself. I hope this helps a little. ❤️

I think you're beautiful.  I have BDD too.  I'm 34 now and it's gone away for the most part but I still don't feel that great about myself.  Every once in awhile I catch a glimpse of beauty but most of the time I'm just neutral.  I'm not sure if I grew out of it but I wanted you to know that I know exactly how you feel and I'm sorry and I hope you find peace.  As an unbiased observer I think you're very attractive and you have a nice body.  Best of luck with your struggles.
