peak without high fertility days???

Question

Currently taking clearblue advanced digital ovulation tests. Only on day 10 of my cycle. Tested yesterday and it showed no low fertility and today it showed peak. Is that normal???? Thought I'd get a few flashing smiley faces before my peak day.

First test was Saturday. I normally peak on CD 13, so I was shocked to see this today. On the first few days I test at noon and the CD11-14 I test twice a day. This is my first time using the advanced OPK, so I figured I would get a flashing smiley face today. I suppose I'm just bummed because hubby is outta town until Wednesday and I feel like we have missed our chance this month.

When were you testing? I've read that some women test both morning and afternoon because that's how fast your body can change. Maybe try that (although I'm using clear blue advanced and they're expensive.). Also, was the first time you tested yesterday, and the second time was your peak? Because I've also heard that the first time you take an OPK it's always low.
