How do you deal with the sciatic back pain?

Around 24 weeks I was diagnosed with sciatica and its horrific. Usually its on my left side but now its on both and I can barely walk up the stairs any tips on dealing with it?

I'm a physical therapist... Google these stretches to do while pregnant; hamstring, piriformis and glutes. Childs pose is great too, you can have your significant other come a give some light pressure to your sacrum in this position which will feel amazing. I would stretch 3-4x per day everyday.

Ugh im in the same boat! I also have other conditions like lupus and such so i have been in soo much pain with that and the sciatica! I will be 28weeks on friday with my second and ive had the sciatica since 19weeks. My docs gave me a belt/brace i have to wear. I hope both you and i can start to get relief! We are almost to the end! Our babies are worth it all💕💙

I saw a chiropractor!!! I was unable to walk 10 feet without any help. Saw a chiropractor 3 times and it's like it never even happened. I went to the joint and they are very cheap and experienced. Totally safe during pregnancy.

I cant stress enough get some kinesiology tape and look up on youtube how to tape your back and belly..... Hope it works for you

The absolute worse pain!!! Warm showers/ Baths (not to HOT) helped ease the pain. It no real relief. And a heating pad on lower back (on lowest setting). Also I found the seat warmers in the car to be helpful when driving or riding for a long time 🙂

Streching did not help me. I got sciatic pain around 23 weeks.. suffered alot..only thing helped me reduce the pain was rest and cold packs

Im dealing with the same pain. Im going to talk to doctor on thursday. I have tried massage, hot and cold packs and nothing helps the pain.
