Carrier

Okay, so I don't go much of anywhere and probably won't doing much of anywhere even when the baby is born. I live in Okinawa, there's not much to do. I would imagine most times I'd have baby in stroller or my spouse with me to assist carrying or we could use a wrap. Now I've been eyeing ergos and the other expensive carriers, but do I really need one of those if I don't really plan on carrying or wearing baby to much? I know they are ideal and more comfortable for the lengthily times, I have other carriers and wraps, but do I need an ergo or etc?
